Yesterday I visited (for the first time!) the Old School Gallery in Alnmouth. It was lovely!
I can’t believe that I haven’t been before.
It was so nice and friendly and the art work was gorgeous and not too expensive. They even sell cards, have lots of local information and keep CDs of local music performers.
The owner is also extremely well informed about local events (and news) in Alnmouth and Alnwick.
If you walk towards the little roundabout at the end of Shepherds Hill, turn left rather than the usual right to the village, the gallery is about three minutes walk from there.
Highly recommended!
