This privately owned self-catering holiday accommodation is set in a beautiful, private location in Alnmouth, on the Northumberland coast. It is just a 5 minute walk to the stunning beach, the little harbour, family friendly pubs and local village shops. This self catering holiday cottage has a huge garden, a fantastic tree house, a bike shed and private parking. There are two pretty patio areas, a conservatory and a wood burning stove. Free WIFI. Linen and towels are provided. We are sorry but no pets are allowed.

Midwood Cottage (sleeps 2) plus sofa bed

If you like holiday cottages by the beach and luxury self-catering then you have found the perfect retreat. Midwood Cottage is newly refurbished in April 2010 and sleeps 2 people (there is also a sofa bed). It has a large king size bed with en-suite shower-room. There is a beautiful lounge-diner and a modern fully fitted kitchen area. Outside there is a large garden with a separate private patio area for guests of the Cottage with views to the River Aln.
It is just 5 minutes walk to local pubs, tea shops and restaurants in the village centre. Alnmouth is about 10 minutes in the car to Alnwick with the world famous Alnwick Gardens and Alnwick Castle.

Midwood Lodge (sleeps 5) plus sofa bed

This gorgeous holiday cottage will sleep 5 (there is also a sofa bed). There is a huge lounge, with comfortable seating for 9, a wood-burning stove, a sunny conservatory and an open plan dining area. Baskets with logs are provided FOC. There are 2 pretty bedrooms, one has a king size bed and the other has a double bed and a handy single full sized bunk above. A large, modern, fully equipped kitchen and stylish bathroom.
Outside there is a sunny private patio area with garden furniture for the sole use for the guests of the Lodge. There is a huge garden and a fantastic tree house for children to play in. We also have a shed for storing bikes.

The Cottages are privately owned and we pride ourselves in offering all the 'Comforts of Home'. We provide all bedding, linen and towels, tea towels, fresh flowers and the finest welcome tray, as well as complimentary tea and coffee. Wood for the stove is provided FOC.
Both cottages are equipped with flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod dock, washer/drier machine, dishwasher, electric and microwave cooker, iron and ironing board, hairdryers. Outdoor and indoor games, badminton rackets, toys, books and Lego, Travel cots and high chairs are provided (however we do not provided travel cot bedding). The holiday Cottages are pristine clean and extremely well equipped. "I was a travel writer for 10 years and in all that time, and since, I have never come across a holiday rental that was so well equipped."
